2026 June Singles Night Tournament

The UQ Tennis Club's 2026 Tournament Program continues with the June Any-Gender Night Singles Tournament.

The June Singles will be played on two Saturday nights, 20 & 27 June (6 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.).

If play on 20 June or 27 June is prevented or interrupted because of the weather, the affected events will be played or completed on 4 July.  Entrants should ensure they can be available for all relevant nights if necessary.

The June Singles Tournament is an any-gender competition (i.e. male and female players will compete against each other).

This is a participation-style tournament which uses Round-Robin formats to keep everybody playing.  Events are offered at 4 levels to cater for players of all standards.

Players are eligible to enter if they have a Tennis Australia Competitive Player Profile (linked to Universal Tennis Ratings) or, if a junior, are 13 years of age or older in 2026 (i.e. born 2013 or earlier).

Entry Fees:
UQ Tennis Club Ordinary, Associate & Junior Members  -  $40
All Others  -  $50

Events are offered at 4 levels:
OPEN  -  top level 
A GRADE  -  equiv. to or lower than UTR 7.50 (approx. UQTC Fixtures A2 Grade, UQTC Social low Red)
B GRADE  -  equiv. to or lower than UTR 6.50 (approx. UQTC Fixtures B1 Grade, UQTC Social Yellow)
C GRADE  -  equiv. to or lower than UTR 4.50 (approx. UQTC Fixtures Cq Grade, UQTC Social Green)

The Open & B Grade events will be played on 20 June and the A Grade & C Grade evenst will be played on 27 June.
